Tech on the Dark Heart
« on: April 04, 2010, 06:15:37 PM »
Decided to quit being lazy and get this over with, so that the Dark Heart can be added to the User Ships list.

Weaponry:
Junk Missile:A missile made from spare parts, it doesn't actually explode. It more meant to intimidate the foe than anything else, and really acts as more of a homing bullet. Still, it can be effective, since it relentlessly pummels its target in a bid to punch through the armoring, smashing itself against them continuously until its destroyed or is otherwise unable.
Salvaged Plasma Cannon:A weak Plasma cannon salvaged from the working parts of other crashed ships. Its weak, but it does have the capability to cause minor disruptions within the internal mechanisms of the enemy ship.
Missile:Missiles purchased by the Mercs from various factions. Standard, explody kinds of missiles, but obviously not the strongest.
Drill Missile:One of the mercs decided to expand on the concept of the missiles that they made. He came up with these, which were basically the same thing, but equipped with a drill, so that they could drill into the enemy's armoring instead of trying to beat through it.

Salvaged Shields:Shields salvaged from other downed ships. They're moderate at best, but they've kept the mercs alive this long...

Salvaged Hull:This ones actually pretty good. With whatever parts they couldn't use, they took with them to melt down on another world/wherever, and had the metal made into a hull, and of course this is adding to what they had before leaving the planet. They're continuously adding to it, and the hull is very, very thick for the corvette class ship it's on.

More if I think of it. Also, the reason this all is ragtag is because it was made by a bunch of human kids stranded on a island. Nothing super-tech for them, unless they buy it. XP

That's alright, gotta work with what you got. Plus I'm sure they'll make modifications to it later.

Approved!
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

Oh, forgot to mention. Since it seems that the corvette class isn't the same as what I thought it was back when I first requested the Dark Heart, the ship itself is about he size of a apartment building. I know I've posted that before somewhere, but I dont know where it was, so just to be sure.
And I would like the Dark Heart put into the User Ships list once this all is approved, just to be sure.

Corvettes are about the size of the white house, though there are bigger and smaller ones.

Alright, then this is the size of a apartment building or the white house. Whichever's bigger. XD
