Zane held out his hand. "Arif!" A blast of fire coming from behind void struck near him causing the ground to turn to quick sand. Besides that though Zane slid on the white ring and formed a large white sword which cut through the walls of emptiness.

Void merely stood on the quicksand, using Dark-attributed magic to force it to solidify underneath him.
"Not so fast!" Null said, Demon Light raining down before Zane could escape. "The bossman wants us to hand you to him on a silver platter. Cant have you escaping now, can we?"
Void, though having solidified the quicksand, was kneeling. "OW! THAT FIRE HURT! Im gonna have to kill you for that!" Void yelled, infuriated.
Null, the voice of reason, merely said,"We cant. He is to go to Pedalos. He, thus, may not be killed by us."
"Grrr...Hey...He has friends, dont he? Lets kill 'em, maybe take the girls for ourselves."
"That would be a suitable punishment indeed...But first..."
"Right, right, gotta do our jobs before pay. Your gonna die, shrimp! Got that? DIE!" Void yelled, Darkness surrounding Zane, and the center of the arena being surrounded by Light. The Darkness and Light had a slight charge, opposite each other, and enough to magnetise them. The magnetism would keep pulling Zane back in, stopping him from fleeing.

Zane let go of all emotion. "I forgive you everything. " he said as he let go of the restraint. Before he had always held his power in but now he would not for he didn't intend to remain their hostage much longer. Golden Holy Light burned through the darkness as red tinged black darkness burned through the light that had been created by his enemy.  His gauntlets lit up and a scythe appeared in his hands. "Wind Cutter Scythe!" He released 5 blades of compressed air at them to cut them in half.  -Help me- he screamed mentally to the elemental elders. Unleashing 10 more blasts of powerful flame Zane was hellbent on escaping Null and Void both.

"You will not take me to Pedalo. I would rather die first. "

They merely created a barrier of Light and Dark to shield themselves from the attacks, and used it to reinforce the barrier holding them all into the battlefield. Even as Zane said that to the Elders, though, something was wrong...They seemed to be inable to concentrate. They seemed...Empty.
"They cannot help you now...
"...For they lack even the motivation to help themselves."
"Our powers can affect them, you know."
"And you shall not escape us that easily. We shall tear apart your mind..."
"...And give you to that fool Pedalos as a souless husk!"
"Now wait, Null. He did say he'd rather die..."
"I suppose you are right, Void. We really could ablige..."

Zane held out his hand gathering the energy of the elements in his palm. “Though you may try to deliver me to Pedalo I can assure you that I will fight you every inch and step of the way as long as I am still alive. “ At that he slid the gauntlets off of his hand and pointed up at the sky.  A white dragon came out of the sky and took the gauntlets and flew away. “Safe travel.” Said Zane as he prepared himself for what came next. He would awaken the power within his heart and unleash it all at once against his enemies.

“You know I just passed the gauntlets. Your work against the Elders may have prevented the gauntlets from being made able to combat Pedalo again by them but I am just as strong as they are. I hid their apprentices so that they would still be alive should the Elders and myself fall, there would be ones capable of fending you off along with your master Pedalo.”  Growling in frustration he pointed his fists out and two balls, one of light and one of darkness formed above the one with the opposite element. Unclenching his fists he let the orbs descend slamming into Null and Void hopefully. The force of their opposite element would weaken them enough so that he could get away from both of them. He would have to do what he could to the Elders to put them back to normal.
“No. Now is not the time.”  Opening his mouth Zane released white fire of it’s purest form at Null and Void along with the orb attack.

The two created a shield of Emptiness, blocking the attacks, and then focused it, to make it physical. It was separated, and each reformed into two shields, which they rushed for Zane from opposite sides, leaped up, and brought the shields down upon him, intending to cleave him in half from above with the shields.

Zane saw the shields coming and held out his fist. "Aura Slam!"  Both the Light and the Darkness heeded his call for once and slammed into their opposite element which since they were close by would likely knock those two out hopefully.  "Teleport!" He vanished in a brilliant flash of light.

The two merely evaded the attacks, jumping to the side. However, it'd proved a good diversion, and because they'd put their focus on Zane, the Elementals had gotten control of themselves again, and fled the battle. "...We lost them all..."
"Hmph. A minor annoyance. Lets see if we cant find them..."
And with that, the two teleported off.

"Elders. Forgive me. I had to hide the gauntlets in order to keep them safe. They won't be enough with the kind of power Pedalo wields now anyway. We will need something stronger than the gauntlets. Too bad we don't have armies of divine and other elementals rushing to our aid against Pedalo. I know how to fight Pedalo with the gauntlets but I fear they aren't enough anymore." Zane was scared of Pedalo and didn't have the gauntlets at the moment as he had hidden them away in his pocket dimension.

The Hunter looked at Zane, not showing any emotion. After a few seconds, he said,"Do not try to conceal your fear. It is a natural survival instinct, and if you are scared, trying not to show it will only cause stress."
The Witch Doctor then said,"As for Pedalos...Indeed, he if strong. Bu dont think for a second that the six hours we each used enchanting the guantlets were wasted. They are strong enough to defeat him, but not individually...Hmm...I have a idea..."
"Well, what is it?" The Pirate asked, getting a liiiitle impatiant.
"They're guantlets, which would mean that only one could be used. That would mean he'd have to choose. But...If they were one...Then he could use all their powers on command. Alchemist, could you fuse them together?"
"Hm...Tricky. It would take a while. Maybe a day, at most."
"Do we have that time?" The Knight asked, sitting on a rock, and bored.
"Thats up to him to decide, I'd think."

All of their powers on command was a thought that had never occurred to Zane before. He had realized why his father had lost and it was because he could not use all of the gauntlets at once rather than using them separately like a normal wielder. Tensing up Zane merely said to them “Here is how we will do it. You will be fusing the gauntlets into one.  However while you do that I will be taking a journey to find the one other thing needed. An ancient sword called the blade of light which can cut through darkness like a hot knife through butter. I would appreciate it if the Hunter and the Knight accompanied me. “  At that Zane held out his fist opening a portal to the gate that they would need to go to for fusing the powers of all the gauntlets respectively into one form. His eyes sparked with red energy as he went into one of his terrible rages yet again and this time there was no one to calm him down since Maxima was dead.

"Such a blade, if it exists, wouldn't lie on this planet. And we would need to stay here to fuse together the gauntlets...There are the elements of Earth and Darkness that must be infused together." Dark said, going through the portal. He handed him a scroll before he went through. "In case you need some shade. The magic in that scroll can create a small patch of darkness which can block out a blinding light...Remember, Darkness can be used for good, just as Light can be used for evil."

As he went into the blood-rage-state-thingy, Pirate egged him on, saying,"Remember, its Pedalos who has done these things to you. He's the one who must be destroyed." She had a dark grin on her face as she spread the propaganda through his head, trying to influence him to use the power against Pedalos.

As he was egged on by the pirate and offered something by the Dark one who happened to be known as the Knight, Zane took the scroll offered. His rage was not in control of himself and he forced it to yield. His eyes glowed with blue light now and a blue aura had surrounded his body. “By forcing the power to accept me as it's only master I can control it.”

At that a door way appeared near them. “I hate to break up this loving reunion.” said Kyle laughingly as he shot dark bolts at Zane which had no effect. “What the? Why isn't my darkness working against him?” Zane “Ursa Major!” A blue aura bear surrounded Zane and he tore through Kyle's dark barrier and hurled him through the door once more this time sealing it behind him. “And don't come back.”

“Bridled Fury.  I have learned on this day to control the power of the bloodlust so that it is no longer a danger to those I have befriended but only to those that prove themselves worthy of being my enemy. You will fuse the gauntlets and gather reinforcements while I go to find the sword. Your apprentices will all be coming with me to help me fight whatever guardian Pedalo assigned to prevent me from obtaining the blade.”  Another portal opened, this time to the location of the sword and it opened in front of Zane.

Zane was irate and wanted to tear Pedalo limb from bloodily ripped off limb even though he had gained control of his fury somewhat he wasn't the master of that power yet. "Will your apprentices come with me?"
