Searching For Animas
« on: April 10, 2010, 03:02:53 PM »
After much time searching, K2323 sat down in a seat, exhausted. He was in the mostly-empty stands of the tournament ring. Most people had cleared out and gone to nearby hotels to await the continuing of the tournament in a day or two. Some people, specifically those with nowhere to go, had stayed in the ring and were quite possibly camping out there. K2323 found it odd that anyone would do this.

"Wow," he said, sighing, "Who knew finding an embodiment could be so hard?"

"That depends on how you look." An odd duet of voices says softly from behind K2323, both a male and female voice sounding simultaneously. "You're here about the new Orion, aren't you? The one Celestie has taken such an interest in."
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

"Animas, I take it," K2323 said, turning to the figure and bowing slightly, watching his words so he didn't get vaporized or turned into a hamster or something, "I am indeed. My sister, Hikaru, has gone into a state of.. What was it? Oven Chair? No.. Um.. A vent of air? Wait, no.. Avenger!"

Eying the man as if he was insane, she sighs and shakes her head. "Get Koty. Easiest way to help her out would be to bring the brother of God to her. He'll know what to do."

"I.. I think-"

Koty had been yelling. Yelling and shouting at his opponent.. Was he hurt!? No, that wasn't likely. Wait, what was happening!? Everything was changing, and suddenly.. Darkness; Koty was gone and some naked guy was in the ring, generally the only one in the arena not confused; Had Koty just.. died?

"I think he's dead."

She scoffs and smirks at K2323, shaking her head. "And his is a spirit filled to the brim with sin. Where else would he go when he died?" She counters, standing up from her seat.

"I don't know if it works like that," K2323 noted, before looking up at Animas. "Is there anything you can do to help?"

"There's quite a lot I could do to help, as half of me created the ritual she performed." Comes the reply, the male voice slightly louder than the female. "However, there is a problem, and Celestie holds the solution."

"Great!" K2323 exclaimed, "Let's go!"

He proceeded to open a portal to the hallway outside Celestie's room.

She smiles and shakes her head, her skin seeming to turn to a layer of purple flower petals. "You seem to be under the impression this will be easy, or simple." She says, before bursting in a shower of the petals, which promptly melt into the floor, reforming before Celestie's door.

K2323 sighed in a disappointed tone before walking through the portal.
