Ace Thunders the one half breed relorian besides Valor had gone on the migration with the other relorians and learned a lot of their techniques of the ancients. Smirking as he approached the Relorians he quickly asked "Are any of the leaders around?" He had an intention of letting the Relorians learn how to use essence in case they ever lost their AAM equipment.

It was a great explosion. Fires burned across the surface of the planet. Smoke like no smoke ever seen before rose into the sky in the shape of the Anrufe's symbol seen on all flags as well as on their cloaks. This was the arrival of an Anrufe member. This was the arrival of Assassin..

As he stepped forward, not sinking in pudding, the man glanced at Ace. "I know you wanted to meet later, but I got bored. Let's have some fun, shall we? The terms are the same as we discussed in our.. communication. If I win, I gain control of your.. gift, as well as five of your starships. If you win, your people are free, and you have that planet.. Terraguove."

"Not here though where the Relorians are. " said Ace Thunders opening a portal using the power of Essence. "We shall fight in my pocket dimension which I have made from Essence. A good place for us to fight after all." He then walked through the portal he had constructed.

Holding out his hand outward winds blew dissipating the flames and the explosions were absorbed into marbles. "Now we fight. " said Ace Thunders waiting for Assasin to enter his pocket dimension to fight him.

The immediately inward contents of the pocket dimension, primarily being Ace, suddenly felt a tugging sensation bringing him back to Duppin. The voice of Assassin spoke in his head, "This planet is the grounds of neither party involved in the fight. I'm sure the Relorians can spare a bit of land for a few moments."

"I am trying to avoid injuring any of them by using essence on the scale that I intend to. " said Ace when he came out of the portal and with a single thought crystal snakes came out of nowhere towards Assasin. The unexpected attack would likely throw him off guard or at least Ace hoped it would. "Prepare to enter a whole new world of hurt!" said Ace as stone armor covered his fists to protect them from what he was about to do.

Before the two could properly begin their fight, a large wall of the pudding-like ground rises up between them, the flags returning to their normal state as the emblem of the Shamai, vines wrapping about a large stone, burns itself into both sides of the wall. "Courtesy would dictate that you speak with the hosts before simply starting your battle, NirRelorian. You should know this." A strange-sounding woman's voice echoes about the place, local vines sprouting up over the wall, wrapping around it.

"Duel ask for, Half-Blood and New Man. Duel ground preparing, only few minutes." A very gruff voice calls out as if in answer, the ground beneath the two combatants feet hardening.

Holding out his palm Ace summoned to his possession his rune sword and so he was prepared for the battle. "Prepare yourself Assassin I can promise that I will be merciful to you if I should defeat you. " Holding out his palm an orange circle appeared around his hand. 

What happened next was that the stone armor on his fists vanished from existence. After that had occurred crystal versions of him rose out of the ground surrounding him.  "Preparation Made. Initializing Strategy.  "

"I am ready to fight him Irrelai and Iroku, so if you would lower the walls I can finish him now."

"He means the arena will be prepared in a few minutes. This fight will be conducted according to Relorian tradition. The Duel has been proclaimed, the Arena is being prepared now. Once it is ready, you will both bow to the other as a sign of respect, and begin. The last one able to fight is the victor. As you are from the Anrufe, your reward for victory will be the half-blood's soul, however weak it shall be since only half of him uses a soul." Irrelai calls out, the buds on the vines sprouting into what looks like large Venus fly trap flowers. While she speaks, Iroku leaves to aid in the preparation of the Arena.

"Actually, Relorian, we've already discussed our terms via telepathic communication quite some time ago. I as victor shall obtain the power of essence for the Anrufe in addition to five ships, though I'm sure I may find more spoils of war by default, if I get my way. He, as victor, would obtain the freedom of his people, those who have surrendered to the might of the Anrufe, and Terraguove in all," explained Assassin.

"Let us light this candle then. " said Ace Thunders as he held out his palms again the rune sword strapped to his waist. "I learned a great deal about the power of Essence. It is equal to magic and can do many of the things that magic can do. " Immediately diamond armor began to form over his clothing in order to protect him from whatever was about to occur.   

"Now if the fight zone is ready I must insist that I summon my own unique weapon to my possession. After all it is best for me to be armed fully. "  His rune sword disappeared and a staff with a sword attached to each end appeared in front of him.

Grabbing it he prepared to fight Assassin and with a smirk on his face he said simply to Assassin "Yes. You shall be trained in Essence if you win. It shall take a while though. Oh and Irrelai I am sorry for attacking before, but I just didn't want him to try and take my soul organ at all.  Essence can do a soul severance but I would rather not perform it now in order to keep him from controlling me if he reneges on those terms we made. "
