Yet Another Owner!?
« on: April 12, 2010, 02:07:48 AM »
...Where...Am I?
This was the thought which had been thought up by Lauren Vain, a few minutes after she had walked out of that portal. She had seen a red portal in her old home, and decided to check it out. She went through it, and walked very carefully foreward...For the 'ground' was a thin strip floating in the 'air'. Strange place, but she saw that this particular strip of land had only one exit, besides the one leading to her home. She exited the odd dimension, and found herself on this large island. She decided to look around for a bit, and found amid the ruins a partially intact bunker...Filled with hamburgers. "What in the world?"
Regardless of the odd discovery, which also she discovered that these burgers were somehow still not-rotten or anything, she continued exploring. Not much, a lot of ruins, and a LOT of ash, but she liked the sea breeze, and figured that if she brought enough supplies with her, she could build a water purifier to keep her plants alive.
And not to mention it was all free.
She ran back to her house through the portal...thing, making several trips, and brought her plants, materials to build a small building to live in as well as anything else she'd need, plenty of water for until she got it completed, and a lot of other stuff she just liked. Soon after she got the last of the stuff on the island, the portal closed, leaving her stuck there. Oh well, though, she had her plants and the materials she needed. And so began the building of her new home...
She summoned a bunch of her skeletons to do most of the work, of course. They used the old buildings as foundations to build off of, as these would provide extra support. As the worked, she began noticing bodies amid the destruction...Which was good for her, as this gave her the chance to try to perfect her necromancy...And eventually succesfully bring someone back to life. She gathered the bodies, and placed them in a pile of sorts, then got out her black book, and began to read.

With no interruptions, the work of her skeletons was completed very quickly, and this was considering she gave them breaks every so often. Sure, they're undead, but that doesn't mean they want to be slaves.
Three days...Thats how long it had taken, all in all. The entire area was finished, and so she had a home now, on this beach. She decided she'd call it,'Lauren's Ash Island'.
After all, it was full of ash, though it was already hard to see because of her plants. She decided to celebrate her new fortune by taking a swim in the sea. She invited the skeletons to come join her if the liked, but none of them did. Apparently, they didn't like the sea too much, since they never wanted to join her when the went swiming, more often using any free time she allowed them-basically any time she didn't actually need them-playing cards or board games. They usually obliged to play any game with her upon request, except if it involved water. Then, she'd need to command them. But there was no need for that, since it didn't matter. She was fine swimming all by her lonesome.

Without warning a clone of Legion appeared and began to blow shit up. "Extraterrestrials are not allowed to use Earth as a sanctuary, please vacate the area or lethal force will be used."
The world is a mess..and I just need to..rule it.

The skeletons themselves largely ignored the destruction, as it really wasn't their problem; their only task at the time was the protection of Lauren, and this being hadn't made any move to destroy her, only the buildings. Even a blast right in front of them, they didn't react, and instead merely went about their way. The only thing that implied any notice to these attacks was that they went toward Lauren to help her. "What, and this isn't lethal force? I dont even know how to leave or how I got here..."

Not having the tolerance to allow someone to die like this a portal opened but who had made said portal? A note came out of it that read "Go through and you shall be safe for the time being. "

Maxima had one of the Warrior Humans near the planet earth make the portal redirect into a corvette.

She didn't even waste time reading the note. But before she left, she used her magic for one final resistance:She conjured up a giant, skeletal hand in front of the being, and it raised its middle finger riiiight in front of his face, with the rest of its hand closed.
She then went through the portal, another force preventing it from being blocked while also preventing Legion from going closer to her in any way...And red bolts streaked across the sky after the portal closed behind her.
