Lauren Vain had been teleported to the supreme command ship of the fleet. Why had she been teleported? Her abilities as reported by the Warrior Humans may prove to be useful indeed for Maxima. 

"You are the one known as Lauren Vain?" asked a Warrior Human who was in heavy duty battle armor and currently loading a rocket launcher. 50 could be seen strapping on various weapons.

Bursting from the floor came a squad of skeletons, at her will, more a precaution than anything, considering he was packing heavy weaponry. It really hadn't mattered that there might not be any skeletons hidden under the metal; they themselves were generated from her will. "And what if I am?"

"And if you are, our empress Maxima would like to meet with you and pay you to do a few things on a field of battle by giving you a home on a world once it is under our jurisdiction. " said the guy as he finished loading his rocket launcher. "Damn Pedalo. Always stirring up trouble." With that he ran off to get in one of the shuttle pods in order to descend to Elemora and fight. 10 others were going down with him right to the location of Zane Valatako.

"Ew, battles? Not my thing."

"More like you would just stand there and your skeletons would attack and aid us against Pedalo. " said Maxima in her honeyed sweet voice as she entered. She was clad in a navy blue robe. A white shining sword was strapped to her waist.

"Again:Eww, war. I dont like wars. Wars are bad. Wars are when people kill each other. Well, I want to bring them back...Did I mention I dont like wars?"

Cleverly changing tactics Maxima decided to utilize the thing that the person she was talking about hated the most as a way to get her to do the filthy assault that she had planned against Pedalo for weeks.  "You hate wars.  If Pedalo wins he will cause even more wars with his powers.  Wouldn't killing him then be just especially if you were to perform said killing in defense of another?"

"My time would still be better spent trying out my own abilities of healing, as I would then be able to revive those already deceased. Besides, I dont like fighting. Im a pacifist. Fighting's bad, 'kay? I only fight in self defense, or the defense of my immediate friends. What part of that do you not get?"

Growing irate at the foolishness of this person who would endanger the entire plan that she had made for weeks Maxima took a deep breath and calmed down.  Removing a book on Necromancy she said to her "You wish to learn Healing Magic? You could become a battle field medic for us at least temporarily. We don't have many of those. " Maxima looked nervous, upset and tired. She also looked injured.

"I. Dont. Want. To. Join. A. Army. I dont even know how to use healing magic, and I cant use any magic other than my own. And I already have my own spellbook, I dont need another."
