Hikaru opened her eyes, to find herself in darkness, and rather.....close, to Koty in the bed. Hearing the knocking, she quietly sat up, and glanced around the room. Koty was still sleeping, and with the hell he had been through, Hikaru figured it was best to leave him that way. Silently getting up out of the bed, she grabbed her maroon cloak from the end of the bed, where she had draped it across the bed post. She hardly ever took it off, but to sleep. And that was rather rare.
Slipping it on, and tying it together, she walked over to the door, and very slowly, opened it. Trying her best not to make a sound; she slipped through and closed it.
Noticing that Celestie had gone back into the Kitchen, Hikaru stood just outside the room, leaning against the wall to the hallway. Sliding down, she sat against the wall, thinking back to the events of the day, and more importantly the tournament.
Having gone to rescue Koty, she hadn't given the tournament battle much thought. But now the fight was well imprinted into her mind. That man she had battled, he had said he was their, ....grandfather, was it? Well if it was true, it marked one person off the list of family members to kill. And if it wasn't, then he was lying, plain and simple. But he had mentioned something else.... Thinking back, Hikaru could see the end of the battle, scene for scene, as she sat in silence of the hallway.
Genesis, that was what he had mentioned. That all three of them had Genesis magic, which would include her as well.
Hikaru couldn't help but scoff at the idea. Those two brats were the holders, so then how in hell, could she have the powers as well? Then again... Thinking back, she could remember Kai saying the same thing. Her having Genesis as well. And Kai seemed to display Phoenix abilities at the same time.... Perhaps it could be true... Holding her hand out, Hikaru began to focus, searching her soul for the unfamiliar type of magic.
So far, all Genesis users she had seen, held staffs. So if what that man, Mokai, was it? Had said, was true. Then, by theory, the powers he granted unlocking, should manifest themselves in the same way. Still focusing upon bringing up the magic, noises from the kitchen were heard, breaking her concentration before something could happen. At that, she laughed, and dropped her hand. She was a fool to have believed it true.
