As he remembered the past Jake thought of what had happened to him on earth. Looking back fondly he remembered everything that had occurred both good and bad on that planet. Even though it was now ruled by one faction and most of the people were dead he still wished he could one day return to that planet.
“No. I will not go back yet.†Resolving in his heart not to return until he had gained enough knowledge to successfully oppose the main threat on the planet he began to study the tablets again. After memorizing yet another one of the tablets he held out his hand and a sphere of water rose from the bottle of water he was carrying and pushing his hand inside of it the water turned to liquid fire which he directed back into the bottle.
“It is enough. I must be ready now since there will indeed be trouble. “ Holding out his hand he summoned a suitcase linked to a pocket dimension that he controlled. Putting all his supplies inside it he readied himself to leave so that he would be ready for what was about to come. One of the things he packed was a cannon from one of the ships with cannon balls and gunpowder for it.
“Now we must all do what we view as right.†His scythe materialized in one of his hands and he grabbed the suitcase with the other hand as he prepared himself. “In case there is trouble we must all be prepared in order to handle disasters like what happened on Terra. “ Mournful for the loss of Terra he allowed himself a few moments of suppressed sorrow and then decided that he must move if he were to win against anything and so having packed up everything he needed for now he uttered a complex invocation that would allow him to leave where he currently was.
"They will pay for messing with Earth. " He was gone within the next instant.
