Indepenence Day

It was the day of May 6th, 2054. Independence Day on Japan. Today was the day that the entity that had came to be called Japae, led by King Ju, would take complete hold of Japan. Thousands of people stood outside the gates of the castle of Japan from which the Xanacorian leaders had once ruled, looking up to the balcony of the castle where King Ju stood before a table, awaiting the arrival of Archive representatives.

And they and what was even better they seemed overjoyed. "Today is a momentous day, it was always our goal to have Japan, or Japae as you call it now, to soon become an independent nation." One representative informed as he moved towards the designated area for the technicalities of the process.

"We hope for a long friendship between our two people." The same representative announced.

The voice of Ju was amplified for all the people to hear: "As your King, I shall lead the nation of Japae into victory. We shall maximize our forces so that we can fight all enemies if we must. We shall practice our art so that we will be once more renowned as the leading empire of magic! We will create a balance with technology and solve all mysteries and wonders of life through science! And together, we will be victorious!"

As the people of Japan cheered, Ju let a drop of his own blood spill upon the deceleration of independence.

"Behold! Japae!"

And as the cheering grew louder, the gates of the palace opened to allow entrance of those who might wish to participate to come to the Royal Independence Ball. Meanwhile, stories above, just inside from the balcony which Ju and the Archive represenative stood, there was a table set up. "We look forward to a fruitful alliance," Ju noted.

"Alright, for your first act of King I suggest the reclamation of the Realm of Existence. It was long the capital of the K empire, if you are successful in your attempt to do such a thing. You'll easily set your regime into stone." The representative suggested.

King Ju nodded. "We've been preparing to retake the ancient imperial capital of the K Empire for many days now. However; before one can take such power, they would need an army. While my reports tell me the territory is uninhabited, proper defense is a must. Thus, my first act shall be the formation of the Japae Imperial Army. And our immediate goal shall be the retaking of the Realm Of Existence."

And in that moment, a stone tablet of sorts appeared declaring King Ju's proclamation, and this tablet levitated from the palace balcony to the entrance hall of the castle.

"If you wish we can provide military support, as well as supplies and various technology." The representative informed, handing King Ju a file on all that he was approved to supply the Japanese with.

King Ju nodded and took the file. "We will remain in contact in the future. We are proud to call The Archive our first ally. I have many ideas that I will, in the future, look forward to talking with your commander about. We thank your people and, in a token of gratitude, give you an artifact which I have found in the Secret Library Of Xanaclone MKII. Each leader in the history of Japan has had a secret library filled with many artifacts, and in MKII's library, I found the K Empire legend of the Box Of Lies."

A wooden box appeared in his hands with a magic seal on it acting as a lock, the seal's removal being made possible by anyone with any experience in sealing magic (though it'd be difficult for even the best of sealers). "A box containing power brought about by lies. Every time a lie is told within a five mile radius of this box, the box gains power. If the lock on this box is released, it will gradually release great power."

A man appeared in Japae watching the goings on. He was cloaked from sight and since he was not using magic he could not be detected by those means either. Who was this man? Ace Thunders.  He had decided it was time for him to give Maxima a gift. Namely the gift of the one thing she didn't have enough of at the moment, weaponry and land. He would make a deal with this King Ju fellow in order to use Japae to produce the materials needed for his empire to prosper. Maxima would die soon and then Ace would be king. A win win situation for everyone except Maxima of course when Ace killed her.  "Hello King Ju." He said going down on one knee for a moment after lowering the cloaking around himself.  "My name is Ace Thunders."

"Thank you King, we will store this in the Library." The Representative responded to the gift, turning when he was surprised by Ace's sudden appearance. "Intruder detected, activate AM field, get a team up here immediately." The Representative ordered into his communication device, within moments an AM field was in place and a team of armored Archive soldiers were in the room. All aiming Helios rifles at the intruder.

"Identify yourself and your reason to intrude upon this meeting, this is a glorious day for our allies the Japae, we will not let you ruin it." The Representative ordered, holding his very own weapon to the side of the man's head.

"Now, now, now, boys," King Ju lectured the Archive security, "Thank you, but we can find a.. better suited means of handling guests."

Ju walked up to Ace, a red glint in his eyes which he was sure only Ace would pick up on. "Can't we, Mr. Intruder? We wouldn't want anyone to get hurt, now would we?"

[Zero]

Thinking about the guns pointed at him and the fact that his relorian abilities would not work in this situation he dove deep into himself reaching into the core of himself and igniting the connecting power of his essence. He was at last himself once more. No longer burdened temporarily with having to suppress and pull he said simply to Ju "Look. Maxima told me to meet you, give you a few things and then wait while you conquer the realm of existence and once you had done that I was to use my ability Essence in order to create you an army there that would resist magic." said Ace Thunders.  "My name is Ace Thunders. " Removing from a pocket in his robes several different colored boxes he made crystal grow out of the ground forming a table. He sat the items down on the table. "This first box when activated will release a flame that will drive away any darkness that you confront. This 2nd will allow you to meld yourself with the land itself and this 3rd will allow you to harness the power of the land itself without having to devote your full concentration to it."

"How.. did you summon such things without magic!?" Ju demanded, surprised, "And what is this 'Essence'? And you mentioned the Realm Of Existence! Just how long have you been eavesdropping!? You'd do best to leave immediately before I'm forced to take action."

[Orph]

"While Japan has been isolated various different ways of manipulating energy have been discovered, Essence is a rather weak technique of doing so. It can be compared to that of a novice magic user." The Representative informed, still holding his gun to Ace's head.

"Maxima is a fugitive who armed a large number of humans with extraterrestrial technology while they already had the ability to use magic, these humans then looted Earth after it was subject to a nuclear holocaust. This sadly led to hundreds of deaths for the surviving humans." The Representative explained, it seemed he was very tempted to pull the trigger.

"Lethal force is suggested."

[Zero]

Concentrating Ace removed all the blocks on his essence that he had put there. Thoughts ran through his head. Thoughts of how to deal with all the guns pointed at him. No. Now was not the time to do things the way he wished. He would merely tell Ju the rest of it and be on his merry way. "I have not been eavesdropping. But I did learn about the realm of existence. Maxima would be very displeased if the Anrufe were to get their hands on that place and that is the only reason I came to lend you a helping hand. However since my life is in immediate danger at this moment. " Removing a horn from his robes he tossed it to Ju. "This will summon me once to your aid. " He turned into mist and vanished as it was a technique of essence he was using and not magic, the AM field had no effect.

Ju turned, rubbing his temples. "This changes things," he noted, "It seems this Maxima man must be dealt with. Right, very well. I appologise, Mr. Represenative, but I'm going to have to leave you. Feel free to join the party downstairs if you do not wish to leave the planet at the moment. I'm going to have to take a trip to the new military base.. Give my regards to your government."

And then, Ju walked away.
