Just Go With The Seasons

K2323 stood in the empty streets of Mortality's Planes, which might as well have been a ghost town today.. And his back was bloody. A chain had just ripped out of it from the inside. The chain, glowing purple, was K2323's way of finding out where Koty was.

And it had acted like a sort of beacon, K2323 wasn't going to find Koty, it was going to be the other way around. Appearing in a flash with caution in his eyes and God Fire in his hands the Mortal-God looked every-which-way. Finally after seeing nothing he just kept his eyes on K2, it didn't take long for him to notice the chain dangling limply from his hands, moving quickly he ran towards his old ally.

"Damn it, this thing was fused to you, could've killed yourself." Koty murmured as he grabbed it from K2's hands, glancing at the bloody mess that was K2's back.

"Koty," K2323 noted, grimacing through the pain. "I've been looking for you since that show against the alchemist. For all I knew, you were a stone statue or something about now.. Well, then, shall we get to it? I've got something to show you."

And then, the two were in a hall of some sorts. The carpet red, the walls white of Sheetrock, the smell of fragrances in the air. Where were they? K2323 led Koty down the hallway to two double doors and opened them to reveal that the two were in on a balcony overlooking the inside of a church fellowship hall. Nobody seemed to notice they were there. And before them, in the pews, sat perhaps five hundred people, all seeming to be worshiping what was before the alter.. A large statue of Koty with a bloody head and a dark cloud of some sorts above him.

"They call it Aragon.. But it's better known as the Plexan Religion."

"Nice statue, need to fix that chin." Koty joked, you could tell he was nervous as he didn't know that he had a religion that worshiped him with a cloud hat. Nor would K2 go through all of this to inform him.

"Plex is the dimension below current Hell, how does this all fit together?"

"I haven't been around too much, but the scriptures," K2323 noted, staring dead at Koty, "Speak of your death by a power which we can only presume is Plex."

It didn't take long for Koty to react, nor was it a reaction most people would expect from him. It was more of a reaction you'd expect from "Him". God Fire wrapped itself around him and began to burn the area surrounding them, the churchgoers burst into flame as they were literally burnt to nothing. The entire church went up in a violet blaze, the fire seemed to ignore K2, he'd still be ungodly hot at the moment but he'd live.

"Not yet, not yet, not yet, not yet.." Koty chanted, the voice traveling into the minds of every single surrounding person, most would collapse on the spot.

But something occurred of great significance. A purple haze surrounded the people of the church and much of the church itself, protecting them by slowing the godfire. This purple haze was stronger than most sages' abilities. Obviously. It was a match for godfire. This was the touch of an embodiment. An embodiment who liked purple haze, apparently. And with the people and church protected, the haze faded.

K2323 glanced at Koty. "What was that?" he asked.

It didn't take long for Koty to understand what had just occurred, and he didn't like it. Not one bit. Something was going on with the Embodiments, first Decay, now her? Koty was a God, and one of his duties was to make sure the Embodiments were kept in check, a duty he shared with his older brother. "Another rebellion. One to make mine look like a child's tantrum. Not one lead by a God with unruly Angels at his heels.. But one brought about by something stronger, with the forces of Existence itself behind it." He informed, turning to K2 with a nervous expression on his face.

"One that will end in my death.. My final death." He announced as he turned to the altar. "Help me destroy this place will you? It's protected from me, but the wards aren't created to defend from Genesis, only God Fire." The God requested, his voice sounded even but he was visibly shaken. God's weren't meant to die, not for good anyway, and faced with the realization that he would.. Was terrifying.

"The haze here is not from her," a voice shouted while entering the huge doorways of the church. The people of the church seemed to be in a suspended animation of sorts, with the exception of the figure who wore a brown cloak, Koty, and K2323. The figure's eyes glowed purple and he seemed to almost give off an aura of the haze. The figure walked down the isle to the middle of the church and looked up to the balcony K2323 and Koty were standing on.

"She is dead, in fact. But the heir to that power is.. in this very room. That person is to take in the shell of her and make it their own, but their is little doubt that the person who has been chosen will join the rebellion. I've merely come here to show you the things to come."

K2323 was dumbfounded. "What are you talking about?"

The figure ignored K2323. "Be warned.. This is not another minor skirmish. This is war."

"Well," K2323 commented, "Sounds like a battle is approaching? If so, I'll stand by you, Koty. It's my sworn duty."

The figure glanced at Koty. "You know as well as I do, Yloh, that he will not fight behind you, but beside you."

"What?" K2323 asked, confused. "I don't know what you're talking about, but I do know war. And I know that I was chosen by Koty to be one of his followers, for I am loyal to him. So, if war is coming, I will warn those who must be warned.. Both those who are with us and against us. I will go and tell them that war is approaching. Some will choose to fight with us, and some will choose to not fight at all. Some will die for this war, and some will be killed. It can't be stopped."

A purple haze began to surround K2323, though he was unaware of the fact. "We will find truth in this rebellion and we will manipulate those who we must. I just know.. That it's time to fight!"

And with that, K2323 pulled a dagger made of Golden Genesis magic from his hand and stabbed himself, and from his hand came a white blood. "To victory!"

And then, K2323 realized that his blood was white.. And that was the last of it.

His eyes turned a shade of purple and he faded from awareness as the entire Church was coated with a purple magic of sorts combined with Genesis magic. In that moment, everyone in the church, including the three who were awake and unfrozen, were teleported out of the church as it exploded with a great force which caused shockwaves to echo throughout the area..

And a few miles away from everyone else, K2323, Koty, and the brown-cloaked man appeared, K2323 unconscious on the ground.

"Thank you, rest now.. You have a lot coming your way." Koty murmured as a protective barrier of God Fire began to cover the skin of the Sage, it wouldn't burn him, hell he wouldn't even feel it. But it would take something powerful to get through it. Turning to look at the brown cloaked man a slight grin appeared on his face. "Hello..old and future friend." Koty said aloud, it wasn't towards the cloaked man but more along the lines of something beyond the man himself. Something that could most likely not even hear him.

It didn't take him long to feel something watching him, and the thing that was watching him was ugly. He had felt it before and it was a feeling you could never forget, raising his hand a pulse of violet energy raged out, revealing a portal with two figures watching down on them.

"Molihik, you coward."

The brown-cloaked figure also looked up at the portal. "You should go through and meet him.. Destroy him now before he becomes too strong. I will take the boy back to his place in Hell."

A portal appeared, and Benjamin appeared with it. Benjamin internally contemplated the distinct differences between portals and his usual teleportation method. Teleportation was much more exciting. You're in one place, you step through a door way and appear in a next. Portals were boring. With teleportation you could feel yourself being turned into particles and being launched through the universe... Benjamin looked at his surroundings and fished through his Jakleauti for his wireless ear buds. He slowly put one in each ear, his sleeves creeping shorter in length like two slithering maroon snakes, revealing his lethal SPLITTER gloves.  Benjamin was still highly confused, but he let his face show his usual nonchalance as he steadily spoke out loud, "Which one of you is K2323?" As he finished the sentence he removed his Spacefarers, revealing the tell-tale lilac eyes of race, and put them in a secure Jakleauti pocket. His eyes seemed to contain a swirling purple energy, his body was tense, there was a magical energy glow about him, he was on edge.

"I have some questions for you."

The brown-cloaked man left his place by K2323's side and walked up to Benjamin. "I am not he who is named the twenty-third, nor can I speak for him, but he is not exactly in a talking condition right now.. Especially not to he who has avoided Fate's ruling."

Benjamin removed Last Justice from it's holder, gripping it tight. "Who are you?" He asked, carefully. Although he had to admit, he liked the sound of "He who has avoided Fate's ruling."

"I," the brown-cloaked figure replied proudly, "Am a servant of the holder of fate. You are lucky, child.. That fate's holder is currently not yet awake. Otherwise, he would never stand for the actions of those who have allowed to live. Your will is strong, stronger than that of most.. But it does not excuse your sin against fate!"

"Me? Inexcusable?" He slammed the blunt side of his staff in the ground, cracking the ground around it. "You are the one without an excuse! You are the ones that killed billions of innocent people. MY people. And you're going to bring them back to me, or I'm going to destroy you. I don't care if you're a servant of fate." Benjamin shouted at the brown cloaked man.

"I killed nobody, I've never killed a soul.. But there's a first time for anything," the man said with anger as a purple haze began to surround Benjamin.

Despite his fury, Benjamin couldn't help but smirk, as he was struck with a sudden, stark, revelation. "I... Have united a divided planet. I have come back from the dead. I was watched and cared for by billions of souls at once. I am a creature of fate. Nothing, will stop me." He flexed his left hand, and his SPLITTER glove activated, cutting the strap of the knapsack. It hit the ground with a soft hollow thud. He slammed his staff into the ground again, but this time there was an explosion that sent him flying in the air, away from the purple haze. He landed to the right of the Servant of Fate, SPLITTER glove ready to dice him into pieces. His xPod powered up, injecting music into his blood stream.

Benjamin felt unstoppable.

"Foolish boy. You are in WAY over your head," the servant of fate informed his company. "You have no place in this war! This is a war of the forces, not of man! You are lucky that I don't simply-"

"Enough, limb. I am awake."

The servant turned, following this new voice.. It was the voice of K2323, awake now and standing, but still covered with godfire. He seemed to have no reaction to the godfire, and a purple haze had even filled the godfire, merging with it. "That is, Fatet is awake. The persona that is to take me in, the 23rd, is still asleep, but that's all for the better. He is not to know his destiny.. Not until after the tournament."

The embodiment of fate, K2323 (essentially), walked up to Benjamin, inspecting him. "You.. You seemed to have escaped your fate. You are a very rare kind, I know only of a few like you.. Such as he who takes on the name of G.. But you, you are not that person.. I will allow you to write your own fate, but I must warn you.. The man who you spoke to earlier, Molihik. He IS decay in flesh. An embodiment, just like me.. But he is not good. He is evil, and plans to rebel against our side. You would be wise not to succumb to his words.. Or I may have to kill you."

The SPLITTER gloves retracted, Benjamin calmed down, although he was a little offended. "You think I didn't notice that? I followed where he told me to go only because it was a lead. I had no intention of following him too closely." Benjamin said, defending himself. He took a step back, and his sleeves crept long agan, hiding his gloves. "But I do have one more question. Is it true I can bring them back?"

Fatet's face went pail. He closed his eyes for a moment as he seemed to absorb the question, and then, his eyes opened with a hint of realization, awareness of what exactly the question asked had regarded. And then, his face was even more pail. Slowly, words formed in his mind. His head nodded slightly.. But his words as he finally spoke were not of encouragement, but of warning.

"There is a way to bring the deceased back.. You must visit Lucifer. In fact, this body here was meant to go to hell, alive of course, to participate in a tournament underway there, I am planning to go there in moments and can take you to Lucifer where you must make a deal with him.. He will ask you for something in return. Be warned, Benjamin, that one human life is worth, in Lucifer's eyes, sometimes even more than one. The number of deceased you want to bring back number in perhaps thousands."

"No. Billions. I want them all back. I do not deserve to live where they have died. They charged me with the task... Of reviving my kind, or avenging them. I owe it to them all to leave my petty grief behind." Benjamin nodded, and twirled his staff.

"I... Am ready."

[K2]

"Very well.. Limb, prepare your brothers. Let them all know that I will awaken soon, and when I do awaken, we shall give our full support to "Him" in the war to come. Arar- Oh, wait, I believe they call you Koty these days.. Koty, you might want to get around to finding your children.. All of them."

And so, the godfire around K2323 was absorbed into his skin. A hole was cut into the air, a portal of sorts.. And from this hole, this portal, rose a gate. A hellgate. As the portal closed, the hellgate stood solid on the ground... And the gate lit up, fires fueled its interior, and a giant skull was in the middle of the fire, laughing. And the skull opened its mouth and suck in both K2323 and Benjamin... Into the fires of hell.
