And so, Ju ordered upon the day that the world known by some as a great city was discovered that it would be taken into study.

A small probe was sent towards the planet from outerspace.

And said probe was fired upon by the City, easily destroying it.

In response, portals opened on the planet above strategic firing locations which had fired upon the probe. Out of these portals came Microwave Bursts, dropped to fry defenses.

But the formerly-skin tight shield expanded, meeting the micro-wave bursts mid-flight and doing what a shield does. Sensing that it was now fully under attack the City began to fire at the portals, using something that resembled high-tech beam weaponry. Drones began to wake up from a long hibernation inside the City and began to operate turrets and defense positions. They appeared to be nothing more then common attack drones, but they seemed to be created from an unknown material, not to mention that they've survived for countless centuries.

But the portals quickly closed...

And a new portal opened, throwing out an EMP and closing before anything could be sent back through the portal.

But it seemed that the EMP was blocked out by the shield, and the soon the City stopped firing, not detecting any hostiles.

A random Chaos Warp opened right in the EMP's path, capturing it before it could do anything. And so...It was useless. The Warp, as random as all of them, seemed to burp up a boulder in response to the EMP it intercepted, and promptly closed. As the planets gravity took over, said boulder made its way toward the planet, though it would largely do nothing at all.

A sage appeared on the planet, floating in mid-air above the city. He yelled at the city, his voice amplified by a Sound Dome spell, in ancient Starclan dialect:

"Non Juckatrai!" ("We come in peace.")

And the City fired upon him, it was to late to say that you come in piece after committing hostile actions. Or at least, to late in the cities view.
