The Heir visits
« on: June 13, 2011, 06:03:26 PM »
A world long lost and forgotten. The original home of their race that had been abandoned for countless millennia. Now it was being visited by the heir to the throne, but for what reason would such a planet be visited? Well he had been told by an AI based off of his dad that he would need training and what better place to train outside the eyes of Interpol and the Hand than the world that belonged to their ancestors?

The time had come. He would learn what his father had wanted him to learn and much much more for he had already learned how to tap into Star-Clan magic, something that it was assumed only racial star-clanners could perform but he could do it easily. Something Ken wouldn?t be expecting when the time came. Surveying his environment, he looked for the Dojo that would be around there somewhere.

All he had to do was train here, and then go back to the White Room and claim all of the vast magical and technological secrets and put them to use in taking over the galaxy as a whole all at once and expanding the borders of the Narrikian Empire. But first he would need to oust that idiot Ken from the throne.  Using an eagle eye spell he once more surveyed the area. To find the Dojo currently was his cause.

The dojo sat quiety deep within a forest.

Slowly the path that had been travelled by those of long ago was travelled by Lucien as he made his way traipsing over to where the dojo would be in the forest. Getting tired of walking, he simply teleported over to the Dojo to save him time because he thought it would be good if he saved time. Now all he had to do was find out who was to train him here and train with them.

Casting a voice amplification spell he asked in a somber sounding voice. "WHO IS TO TRAIN ME?"

"I am your first instructor," a voice replied from within.

Lucien was brought to the first room of the dojo. There, sitting on the ground, cross legged, sat an ancient Narrikian martial arts instructor. He motioned for the Narrikian to approach him and sit.

Pondering over what would happen next, Lucien walked over to where the instructor was and examined the garments he wore, and then sat down near him. He concentrated and then said. "So what do we do first in my lessons?"

"You must learn, young Narrikian, the powers that lie within you, and channel them through your body. Learn to know who you are, and do not be afraid. You must learn what other leaders of other empires have failed to learn.. How to first master your body."

The instructor stood, motioning for Lucien to do the same.

"We start every lesson with a bow. It signifies respect. You must honor respect and respect honor. Respect your body, for it is a Temple. That is very important."

The instructor bowed.

Bowing once, Lucien let the energy flow through his body unsuppressed. The energy surged through him, not that of magic, or of the astral, spirit energy but something far more ancient than that existed inside of him and surrounded him in a dragon like shape around his body. The dragon like shape grew a sword in one hand, and a shield on the other. The dragon then breathed fire of a variety, by shooting a beam at the instructor.

You see, this technique was something Lucien had never done before. One technique was instinctual and a very powerful non magical move that would work in AM for some odd reason. This technique was one of the Surasel, the most powerful Narrikian martial arts that had ever existed. "What is going on?" He asked, trying to stop the blast.

The instructor easily tapped Lucien at a point on his chest, and the dragon faded away, as did the sword and shield. The instructor shook his head.

"That technique is not to be used ever again. Your body takes a great toll everytime techniques like that are used.. Do you understand? Now, move your legs like I do."

He placed both of his feet apart, by shoulder width. His feet pointed forward, and his knees bent slightly. He kept equal weight on both feet. He closed his fists, with his thumbs pointing outward, and moved them down to his hips.

The stance that his teacher did was easy enough, and so it was replicated by Lucien with no flaws in his style at all because he had already undergone some formal training, even though it was not by these teachers but rather by someone currently occupied elsewhere. Never use the Surasel moves again, one of the first things Lucas had taught him when he learned how bad off Lucien had it as Carl, would be something easy enough to do.

But as he concentrated on the stance he let himself go into it, closing his eyes and slowly red lines of energy surged out of the ground and around him like a protective aura but at the same time not, only one other student had been able to perform this particular thing that he was doing as of now. For the only other student had been the one training him to become emperor in this area, of unarmed combat and so he looked over at the Mentor.

Holding the position, Lucien concentrated and his magic once more surged inside of him forming thoughts of how he could improve his stance since it had no flaws, but was clearly a vital thing that he needed to work on. Throwing those thoughts to the back of his mind he closed his eyes and did not notice the crimson circle that formed at the end of his right hand, or the blue circle that formed at the end of his left hand, for he was beginning to sub-consciously as he performed these moves tap into the power of martial arts, the true power it had.

Lucien received another tap, rather sharply, upon his chest to negate the energies flowing outside his body. The instructor shook his head once more, obviously not amused.

"You will be tempted to use energies in combat. You must not. Martial arts is not supernatural. It is not applying the use of energies in combat. It is an art and combat style both of the body and mind. Using energies in combat will only serve to damage your body.. You must understand that.

"I, too, once had much energy within me. You must not mistake that energy as physical. It is magical. The magic within your body is seeking a way to escape as you become in sync with your body. You must not allow it the opportunity to do so.. You must control your body and mind."

He remained in the position, now pleased that Lucien was also in the right stance.

"This," he began to explain, "Is a starting stance. When you are practicing martial arts outside of combat, you should always begin your practices with this stance. If you are training under an instructor, you will probably be expected to hold this stance until your instructor tells you to stop."

He relaxed, keeping his legs in their place, but resting his hands on his hips. He adjusted the way his knees were bent so that they were bent without going past his feet, and he pushed his butt back. He basically looked like he was riding a horse. He held his left arm out at shoulder level, balled in a fist, palm down, and did the same to his right fist, leaving it upon his hip, palm up. He moved his right hand up into a punch, palm down, and rotated his left arm down to his hip at the very same time, all while yelling out a brief, "Huh!"

He kept rotating the stances of the two hands so that one hand would punch while the other would rest on his hip. He smiled as he did so, eventually motioning for Lucien to do what he was doing.

Adapting the style he was now in, or rather as his instructor called it the stance to that of the one his instructor was performing, Lucien held the stance all the while restraining his magical energies, and transferring the magical energies into the sword that he had brought with him, that of his father so that the blade would be enchanted. He would let his book handle the enchanting, while his own energy was used to power the enchantment however.

Mimicking the exact same stance that his teacher was performing, Lucien closed his eyes and decided to continue until his mentor would want him to stop. At the same time however his book was at work performing what he would be doing were he not focused on the training. The book glowed for a moment as did the sword which changed forms permanently into the one that Lucien could wield the easiest as opposed to the normal form of the blade.

The blade glowed for a moment before markings appeared on the blade of the sword, first the marking of a fist to designate that he had mastered some of martial arts, well really a palm and it would turn into a fist when he had completed his training here.

Now his attention, that of Lucien and not his book was on his teacher as he held the starting stance as per instructed still. As of the moment, he was not even beginning to be worn out or taxed by such a technique that he was instructed to perform.

"Am I doing it right?"

"Yes," the instructor replied, "This stance is for building strength. You should practice it often. It is now, however, very useful in combat."

The instructor then moved his legs so they were only bent slightly, placing one leg slightly in front of the other. He held his hands to an easily accessible place on either side of his body, below his head.

"This," the instructor explained, "Is a stance you should take in combat. Your arms and legs are placed where they are so that you may easily block an opponent's attack, be it a lower body or upper body attack. Your arms are always in a place to guard your head, but should be capable of guarding your entire upper body. Shift weight between your feet as you must in order to keep balance."

Focusing his attention on what would need to be done next, Lucien shifted his stance to mirror that of his mentor and teacher, one of the Ancient Narrikians. The stance did seem useful in combat, but it felt like it lacked something. His teacher would be one of the few who could hurt him while in this technique and so he would need to adapt that problem away later on.  Of course for now said technique would be fine obviously until he could come up with something else.

The energy of Martial Arts, that of Manifestation as it would be called, a manifestation of the very energy he was using in the arts themselves but not magic, this gave off none of the signs of magic whatsoever or the signs of spirit energy or the signs of Psionics as it formed around his hands as he held the stance, forming invisible but detectable circles of energy that when he threw a punch would cut into an enemy, something he did not know that he was doing.

"So am I doing it correctly?"

"To a degree," the instructor replied, "Though you are a novice. You have much to learn.."

He sent a punch flying straight towards the chest of Lucien.

Now however would be the time to demonstrate all that he had been taught by his other mentor Lucas during his short time as his apprentice before they had a fight and went their seperate ways. Lucien caught the fist, and then did a sliding kick that would take out the feet of his mentor out from under him. He also at the same time twisted the fist of his mentor.

"Getting better?"

His mentor grinned.. This student would be excellent.

---

Several hours later, the instructor bowed before Lucien.

"You have passed through the ranks now. It takes most people years to learn what you have learned in the last few hours.. Very good. You may pass through the doors behind me to the next room of the dojo where you will receive your next level of training. Good luck, my young friend."

His book opened up a mental link with the Instructor for a moment.

"Know that on this day it is not just one student you have taught. Your style will be forever immortalized in me, and should the time come when you die, I shall hold the information of your teachings."

"And I am off." With that spoken, Lucien headed through the doors behind his mentor. It was time to move on as he had mastered courage and so his clothing changed to something more fitting for a martial arts wielder, a Gi with heavy combat boots, weighted gloves and his sword strapped to his back, the one his father's AI construct had given him so that he would be ready. One day, the Anrufe and Interpol would fall. Until then he would keep learning and living and hoping someone managed to defeat them before he had to step in.

The last room had been one of peace. This room, on the other hand, was one more of war. This room of the dojo was on a platform which floated above black fire lit all across the ground. The moment Lucien entered, the doors to the room closed shut, steel.

There were another set of steel doors behind the instructor, who stood on the platform, a smile on his face. He was a tall, muscular man. He wore a cutoff shirt and camouflage pants. This man was one more accustomed to fighting. He was, quite simply, a warrior.

"I will give you one chance to leave this room. Tell me that you do not want to learn. Tell me that you do not want to be a leader. Tell me that you are not even half of the man who your father was. I will allow you to leave.. Or, you could stay, and complete your training. You could stay, and fulfill your destiny. The choice is yours."

"I wish to learn. I wish to be more than a man than my father was. I wish to complete my training." A serene expression was on the face of Lucien, this did not even rattle him. For you see he did not care much about this situation being one that would have to be dealt with. With that Lucien smirked. "Let us begin my lessons. Or you could sit there, and I can simply pound you and then walk through the doors behind you. Your choice."

"I like your style, kid," the instructor replied, "You shall, perhaps, make a great leader someday... If you survive my training."

He grinned, and his fist lit red. He punched the air with his red fist, and a shockwave of some sorts was sent towards Lucien. This instructor was to teach Lucien the Fist Techniques.

Tendrils of energy rose out of the ground wrapping around the blast of energy and absorbing it into the tendrils, shooting bolts of energy back at the instructor who had sent the red wave of energy at him as this would be one of his more powerful spells.

Lucien would stop holding back so that he could win this fight with a good amount of victory. Victory would not come without a price however and so he would have to master the techniques that his instructor was using, only he had. As the bolts of energy were more like the fist techniques, but rapid fire.

Smirking as the rapid fire innovation of the techniques that Lord Montreal had mastered and had used came at his instructor he decided on something that would benefit him on his own as it would seem to be useful. Now he could continue his scheme that would allow him to survive this battle and so he would work harder to get the task that he needed done.

"I will survive this."

"Impressive, kid," the instructor commented, "But sloppy."

The instructor's red fist sent out another shockwave which deflected the continuous fire being sent at him. When the firing of energies stopped, the instructor looked at Lucien with a smirk on his face.

"You're as pathetic as your father was."

Called pathetic was one of the things that angered Lucien and he held out his hand, scarlet energy of a magical variety travelling down his arm forming into a sphere of energy which formed into not a shockwave but a massive red fist that flew at the warrior that was causing trouble for him in the situation. His teacher would see this was one of the Fist Techniques that was rarer, this was not a shockwave but was a fist of red rage energy that was headed to strike his opponent.

"You shall burn!" A fiery crimson aura surrounded Lucien as he levitated off of the ground, but this was not part of the fist techniques. Crystals slammed into near where his mentor was and the crystals had jagged edges and were crimson like the fist techniques that he had sent out.

"Dert'ree," the instructor muttered. His form vanished, reappearing in the sky, hovering. His fist was glowing blue now as the attacks that Lucien had sent at him all crashed together on the ground, resulting in a massive explosion below the instructor. He floated back down to the ground.

"Calm down, Lucien. It is okay. You must not allow yourself to be consumed by anger.. Your power is great then, but your brain is at its weakest. You become sloppy. You must not allow yourself to constantly use the red fist technique," he said, his voice hopefully soothing Lucien.

However to soothe someone like Lucien when he was in a mood like this would be difficult, extremely so. His book however at that moment woke up as it were and took control of his body and limbs so that he would survive this battle. The book made the hand of Lucien extend outwards and a blue glow surrounded the hand, but this was not like the glow of his mentor, no this blue glow did something else as a massive blue fist with homing properties shot off at the instructor to strike him.
The book had taken over because it did not want Lucien maimed during this fight, and because rage indeed was making Lucien sloppy, something the book had learned about from experience just now and would need to work with him on. The red fist technique would be one that would not be used as much as other types of magic.

"Lucien is no longer in control.  For your own safety and his, I shall handle this lesson for him and then download the memories into his brain. He is currently asleep, had to knock him out."
