Dawn of a New Path
« on: February 19, 2010, 03:17:12 AM »
Shocked and speechless, Hikaru could not even begin to fathom what had just happened. Kissing, it was something she had only seen, but not experienced. Something her parents, and the many couples of the universe did. Hell, she had even sent Emily to such a thing as a way to kill her brother. But that was seduction, with the intent of wrong. This? This was the real cause, the true intentions of such an action, and in the middle of worrying for Koty, he had pulled her into it, just like that. Quick, and silent, before she could react. But it wasn't just shock that filled her, there was reassurance as well. She still worried for him, and would want to someday find the spell that would help him. But for now, her worries would have to be contained.

Hikaru could see that her own worries for him, would only lead him to worry that she was. If they were to do this ritual, then the two of them would have to trust one another completely; that meant knowing when to believe the other, when they claimed nothing was wrong. Taking this to heart, Hikaru couldn't help but give a slight half smile at Koty's proclamation to protect her. He seemed livelier now, she could see it in his eyes, and at this, she was relieved.

Now standing within the blue grass prarie of Magimeta, the two still hand in hand. Hikaru waited for Celestie to join them. She was now fully prepared for the ritual, in eagerness, in mind, and in emotions.  And this land, in all its beauty and wonder, and the feeling of pure magic in the air; could not have been a more perfect place for the start of the path they were to embark upon.

"I'm ready if you are," Hikaru whispered to Koty. The land had lifted her spirit, and standing there with him in the midst of it all, she felt calmness in mind, even in the threats of yet to come. Whatever lay ahead, even if it meant death in hell, it could not disturb the peace with herself, and with Koty, that Hikaru now felt.

Celestie smiles at the two, watching them come through the portal. "You two will make an amazing Orion couple. Already, you're very close to each other. Close enough to be able to enter the first stage without a hitch." She says, a small orb forming in her hand. "So, are you two ready? Or would you like to wait a bit?"
Seeing the world through a child's eyes is truly a unique experience. It helps you to retrieve that sense of awe, magic and wonder that you lost as you lost your innocence. Tell me, when was the last time that you thought of those childhood dreams? You know, the ones that you used to spend all your time wondering and fantasizing about? Have you forgotten them so easily? Have you forgotten what it felt like to see something for the first time, to see the magic in the mundane? Everyone says you should take the time to 'Stop and smell the roses'. But you should also take the time to look for the fairies, embrace the wind and enjoy the rain. Just once today, stop for a moment and look into that little piece of nature you pass everyday. Perhaps you may see something you did not notice before.

"Lets begin, the sooner we remove the deal the sooner we can both put our minds at ease." Koty responded, signaling that he was ready to begin the ritual that would change them forever.

Hikaru nodded in solemn agreement. At the mention of the deal, it had brought her back to reality, which had recalled something of importance. But try as she might, she just could not seem to remember what it was. She knew it had to do with the deal, and she knew it would change things, but as far as that, her mind would not allow her to focus. Letting the matter slide, Hikaru pushed the thought to the back of her mind.  Thought it bothered her, if it was important, it would reveal its self later, for now she had to direct all of her focus on the ritual, less it go wrong.

Looking over at Celestie, she gestured she was ready.

Nodding to them both, Celestie takes her swords from her hips and stabs one into the ground to the couple's left, the other to their right. "Hikaru, Koty, it is time to begin your path together. This is but the first step towards true companionship, and is in no way the largest. Your journey together has not been a safe one, nor will it be in the future. Together, you will rise above your trials and become the rulers of your own lives, but should one of you fall, you will be consumed." She calls out to the two, her voice strong and clear. From the ground start to rise small purple firefly-like lights, clinging to the swords and the two Orien. "Now, Hikaru. Now, Koty. It is time to see the world from the perspective of your love. Begin the spells."

The moment the words left Celestie's mouth Koty moved quickly, walking towards his potential companion and reaching into her chest. No, not what you're thinking. The moment his hand touched her it she rippled like water, grasping her soul he gave a reassuring smile. It was painless, he had transformed his hand into energy that could still grasp a soul. If she felt anything it would just be a slightly warm feeling on around her heart. Daaaaaawww. "It would work better if we did this simultaneously." He informed, feeling embarrassed since if anyone saw them he'd see a guy with his hand lodged in a girl chest cavity.

With a quick nod to Koty, Hikaru cast a phase spell upon her hand and reached it towards Koty's chest and through it. Taking a hold of his soul, she could feel the hard sharp metal of chains beneath her fingers. With a slight gasp, she realized that this had to be the seal, and then she knew somewhat of the pain he had to be going through. The soul was connected to a person. Whatever happened to it, the person would feel.  For the seal to take the form of chains around Koty's soul, it was like sentencing him to never-ending pain for an eternity and she had done this to him.

Silently repulsed and sickened at what she had done. Hikaru vowed to find a way to undo it. In the meantime however, she readied a spell to remove his spirit in her other hand, as she kept hold on the seal and his soul with her one hand. "Ready," she replied, still aghast at what she'd done.

The purple lights slowly start winding themselves about the two bodies, swirling around Celestie as if in a whirlwind. "And so, from one to the other, the world changes. Two kindred spirits escape from their mortality only to be given the other's. Two, destined to become one, of the world their perspectives shift. The hearts that bind these two Orien together also serve to free them, bringing liberation in companionship." She says, raising her hands to the sky as the wind begins to pick up, whistling against the blades of her swords. With the spirits both loosened from their bodies by Hikaru's and Koty's actions, they both begin to feel a 'pull' towards the opposite body, as if it is calling to them. "Life gives unto life, love gives unto love, let these two share their worlds." Comes a soft whisper into the winds, the grass under their feet standing up at attention.

"Release the spirits, and take flight."

With a sharp tug Koty removed Hikaru's soul along with her spirit, as she did the same they both fell to the ground.

Watching the two spirits slowly rise into the air, Celestie smiles and reaches out as if to grab them. The purple fireflies start wrapping around the two spirits, cautious of Koty's chains as they slowly move the spirits over the opposite bodies. "And so comes the dawn of a new path, two incomplete spirits seeking to become one with each other. Now, take root in your love, and let your partner surround you." She says softly, the winds finally dying down as she lowers her hands, the spirit spheres descending to their new bodies.

"Sanctu, Dewa, Zoul."

Instantly as the words of Celestie's spell faded. The spirit of Hikaru, and the phoenix shaped soul of light blue tint, within it, were pulled as if by a foce near to the body of Koty. As the fact remained that spirits were still aware, Hikaru could see this happening, and quite used to it by now, having been seperated from her body many times back in fights with her brothers. So this should have been no different... or so her thougts allowed her to believe. Too bad she was soon to find out; just how different this ritual would be.

As the world went black around her, Hikaru could see no more. Her vision was gone, of course, as Koty had been blind. Knowing this, it allowed her to fight back any fear from not having the ability to see. Having no sight wasn't completely new, she had been in this same situation before back in a tournament fight with K2323. Only then, she had lost all her senses, which made it even harder.

Knowing what to do from experience, Hikaru focused on her magic and allowed herself to see through magic signatures. Sensing Celestie's nearby, and Koty's as well, it gave her a sense of where she was at. With the issue of sight now out of the way, Hikaru went to stand up so she could find out how Koty was doing, only to fall back down into the grass. Unsure of what happened, she attempted to stand again, to no avail. Finally after the third failure to do so, it dawned on her, height difference. They were of different heights, and therefore her balance would be uncoordinated.

Scolding herself for her own stupidity, Hikaru sighed as she remained sitting in the grass. It was going to be a long four hours.

As Koty's spirit was ripped from his body for a short moment he was his old self, just a short nano-econd, not even a nanosecond, it was such a small amount of time that it barely registered as even happening. But it did, and the amount of power unleashed was well..Godly. The blue grass of the field was burnt to ash, the ground under it was turned to lava, the sky above it was now missing it's atmosphere, the trees became alive and screamed with pain as they burnt, the animals turned to stone, and all this wasn't even close to a FRACTION of his power.

It was terrible and beautiful. And it only lasted for a small amount of time, before everything just turned back.. Koty was still being absorbed into Hikaru's body, it was the planet itself. It had reversed the destruction, but how? How could a planet defy a God?

And as all this happened, Koty!Hikaru opened his eyes,

Suddenly reeling from the still sore cries of the land around her, Celestie falls to her knees, a palm flat against the grass. "The spell, is complete. I'll leave you two, to yourselves. It'll automatically reverse in four hours." She says, seeming out of breath before teleporting away, the grass that was underneath her taking a bit to rise back up, as if just as exhausted as she was. Lingering in the air around the two, her voice calls out in an echo. "I wish the best for you, and that your power is never released, Brother of God."
