Character Name: Niiv: Tipper of Balance, Bringer of Ruin, Creator of Chaos, Starter of Headaches, Forger of Irony, and Pyro of Maniacs
Age: Ageless! (Okay, really old, but not ageless)
Gender: ...male
Race: Fallen Angel
Appearance: A skinny young man with jet black hair. His Wings are dotted with dazzling green feathers the color of his eyes. They are mostly black, but contently shifting to white. When showing off in his true divine form, he seems to be made up of a black shadow, almost made up of smoke. there seems to be a white light beneath that shadow, pulsing to get fresh air. A few streaks of green light bedazzel his wings.
Alliance: Himself: Anything that can cause disorder
Personality (one paragraph minimum): In this world there are three basic motivations a being can have. The desire for service, the desire for power, and the desire for pleasure. Niv most certainly falls under the third category. Pretty much is only motivation throughout the majority of his life has been to have fun, and how does he do that? Blood, death, and destruction are a good start, although most of the time he settles for something a bit pettier than that. However weather it's tepeeing the White House, or sending a group of Lorcar to the nearest populated planet, he does it all in the spirit of fun!
Niv is a person who you could say is generally happy. He usually has a hysterical smile on his face, and when he has a hysterical smile on his face he is usually hysterically laughing. That is, unless you ruin his fun. Then the expression will become that of offense. Niv is very flamboyant in this way, and you can usually tell how he is feeling by his body language. He's pretty fruity, in an annoying sort of way. He is also a pathological, and honestly a superb, liar. He also has a thing for eavesdropping. Poking into other people's business is something he quite enjoys. If more than about fifty people know a secret, Niv is likely one of them (I promise not to abuse this. If he uses knowledge that seems like something he wouldn't know, I promise to edit or send you a post referencing him in a position where he could learn that knowledge.).
Inventory (Weapons, Equipment, Etc): A steel dirk, a light steel flail, and a big steel crossbow, all of which with emerald studded hilts. Also a sack of anti matter marbles, each only big enough to cause a meter in diameter blast.
Combat Level: 3
- Magic Level: 4- He's amazing at laying traps and such, but the quick strikes required in combat? Dream on! The only magic Niv can perform quickly and easily is a teleportation the heck out of there. He also is one of the best creator of falsehoods in the history of the universe. He has crafted some of the most believable lies in existence, and more so, has powers of illusion that can rival even the appropriate embodiments in existence.
- Physical Strength: 2- It may hurt if he smacks you with his flail, but let's be honest, a ZPAA could break his arm with it's pinky finger. He 's quick and flexible, but honestly don't expect him to be dishing out any real damage to great warriors. Well, at least not with his fists.
Character's History: Niv began his life, forged in the pits of creation, as was every other angel to be created. He was created not to long after Aser, and for a similar purpose. He was to be a partner to Aser, the ideal assistant. A being who was mediocre in combat, and yet clever enough to solve any problem peacefully. The two would create an unstoppable team. Unfortunately, Koty had other plans. Early in the life of Niv, Koty showed up and told him that he would find the work assigned to him quite agitating and stressful. Niv rejected this idea, but the thought stayed with him a long, long time. As he and Aser would become great companions and partners, Niv would realize that there was in fact truth to what Koty had said. The thought plagued him, and after a while he began to loose interest in the mission of he and Aser. A new thought had sprung up.
Is it worth it? It was then that Koty came to Niv again, and plagued him with a new idea. Koty convinced Niv to try destruction (not destruction magic, but the act of destroying). After all, what relieves stress more than smashing stuff? Well Niv had sunk so low into his depression that he took little convincing. He destroyed a sign. Nothing big, just a meager sign. However, he realized Koty was right. Destruction was very enjoyable, and before he knew it, the entire city lay in ruin.
Aser was irate when he found out. Guiltridden when realizing what he had done, Niv tried to apologize, but let's be honest, what imperfect being would simply take the apology of someone who had just destroyed a city full of innocents that had been in tedious production for years? Though Aser had been an Angel of good, Aser could not forgive his former friend so easily. He chased Niv three lightyears straight before Niv got away, and even then it was close. However, once Niv did get away, he felt he had no where to go. He spent months sulking in asteroids, hidden from Aser, alone with nothing but his thoughts. As he sat, alone in his asteroid cave, His memory of the city began to fade away as the horrific image of an angry Aser out to kill plagued his thoughts. He had apologized on his hands and knees, tears falling from his eyes, and what did Aser do? Aser tried to kill him. He gave no second chance; showed no mercy of any kind whatsoever! Aser was horrible! How could he treat his great friend that way?
As these thoughts began to enter Niv's mind, the good memories of Aser and himself were pushed to the back of his mind. Before long, he was convinced that he had done the right thing, and Aser was a scoundrel who had always kept a tight reign on Niv. He acted like Aser had enslaved him, and naturally, he turned to his liberator: Koty. He joined Koty, and became a tool of destruction for several centuries. After a while, however, he became bored, and started to drift off: causing chaos in places across the universe that just seemed to serine for him as he passed by. Soon he became more obsessed with this than he was loyal to Koty. Koty saw this happening, but let him go after a while. Niv had become a loose cannon, and he didn't want to keep up with him any longer, but at the same time didn't feel like killing him. Niv has been reeking havoc across the universe ever since.
While most of his horrendous deeds have been seemingly minor scale events, like redirecting the experimental teleportation of a a group of Humans to Pax and watching them beat to death a beautiful Imbellis girl, he has committed crimes on the large scale. Some say he has told every Narrikian leader that attacking that heavily fortified and defensible planet was a good idea. One of the most notable is the Lorcar. Niv has served as a primary informant to the Hive King, giving him information on which planets had a great amount of biomatter for them to consume. If it had sentient life on it beforehand, it's likely that Niv pointed the Lorcar to it. However, to find one of his most proud devastation, we most return to Pax. When coming upon a group of Bellicus traveling throughout space, he decided to have a little fun. He took their already existing ties of magic to emotion, and made them stronger. He made their magic completely dependent on emotion. As a secondary curse to have even better effects, he made the children of these people random and chaotic. Some would live for centuries as a mopey weakling magician, but others would live for only ten years and have three times the capacity for emotion. The results were truly random, but most of the children would be two things: powerful, and uncontrollable. Eventually Aser would take away these cursed Paxan and hide them in a place he though Niv would never find them. As generations of cursed Paxan bred with one another, the curse would stabilize, and they would call themselves Heliphlein. The curse remains in their blood to this day, but Niv wanted to find them really bad so he could use them as his playthings of chaos even further, but behind the shadow nothing could see what treasures lay in store. However, due to a recent malicious attack, the Aserical shadow was partially burned, and now Niv knows exactly where they are...
