Yep. It's back.

Nobody knows where it came from. It literally just appeared in a medium sized city one day. Nobody remembers it not being there, but somehow nobody really remembers seeing it either. The Apartment Complex is a dimensional anomaly that appears for every good messenger board.

HOW THIS WORKS:

Cartoon physics have taken over. Normal laws of the world go out the window.
Your room magically transforms into your description.
If you don't take the time to describe, you are given a random theme.
The Owner is a shadowy individual named Hector. He will appear at my beckoning for plot.
Despite dimensional breaks, there are still only sixteen rooms, four on each floor. Hallways seem to stretch on forever, but they actually just have portals that loop to each other on each end... Like this.

Be careful of the blue mail box up front.

TAKEN ROOMS:

Room 1, Floor 1: Zai (Theme: Janitor's Closet, 150 sq. ft.)
Room 2, Floor 1: K2323 (Theme: Large lounge/bar, lives in a creaky, dark, attic loft above the bar. 2000 sq. ft.)
Room 3, Floor 1: Hikaru (Theme: An infinite nexus, blank white as far as the eye can see. Unlimited space for Hikaru's things, though not pretty to look at. Infinite square feet.)
Room 10, Floor 3: Red/Hiro (Theme: Door opens to an pocket dimension above the actual building. It is completely invisible from the outside, but not from the inside much like a one-way mirror. It gives a fantastic view of the area. The edges of the dimension are completely transparent, furniture seems to float. 800 sq. ft.)
Room 12, Floor 3: UnStellar (Theme: Abandoned and run down theater in a dead dimension. A real fixer-upper. 25,000 sq. ft.)
Room 13, Floor 4: Orga (Theme: An enormous stone, medieval castle. It has four tall towers with exquisite bedrooms, and many dungeons and feasting halls. It's always night, and the torches never go out. Mysterious things creep in the dungeons though. It's never been fully explored, unknown square footage.)
Room 14, Floor 4: Bladeswipe (Theme: Upon opening door, there is only a ladder leading up to a cozy, though dusty, loft. Through the windows one sees an old, old world with a dying sun and beautiful moon. 600 sq. ft.)
Room 16, Floor 4: Lyoko (Luxury Suite: Extravagant furniture, hard wood floors, hand carved wall mouldings. Three bedroom suite... Inexplicably has half a dozen luxury cars on display for decoration, mostly Cadillacs. Though they are display, they still function fully. 4000 sq. ft.)

Hector stepped out of the building, closing the door firmly behind. He inhaled deeply, enjoying the scent of... Normal air. He had a bright orange sign in his hand, and he set it in the window. To normal beings, it would appear as whatever made sense to them. Some would read it as HELP WANTED, or ROOMS AVAILABLE, or even NO TRESPASSING. But to extraordinary beings, dimensional travelers like himself, it would read: POCKET DIMENSION ROOMS FOR DIMENSIONAL WANDERERS. Satisfied with his enchantment, he turned to go back into the building, but stopped short.

It was if something was staring at him. He turned slowly on his heels, and glanced at the blue mailbox. Knowing it was his duty, he walked to it slowly. Inhaling an exasperated breath, he opened the hatch swiftly, and peered in... To find himself staring at himself. The mailbox had chosen to be a mirror shield inside today. Very well. Better than the tentacle monster last time...

Shaking off the recollection, Hector returned to the building.

(Want mah usual entire-floor-above-the-top-floor. I suppose it might be accessible by one of the normal room doors though, unimportant which.

(P.S., I looked this up online expecting to find hundreds of these... But I can't find any way. I feel like I'm part of some cool exclusive club... This started on the code lyoko forum right?)

(P.P.S, Any chance this can get moved to the roleplaying subboard? I seem to be really good at putting things in the wrong section lately.)

Hector sat patiently in the lobby of the apartment complex. Inexplicably, the lobby was enormous, with marble floors and tall pillars. The walls were golden. His desk stood in the very middle of the room, to the far back was an elevator. There were stairs tucked in the far corner, but it was best not to take them. The laws of physics got funnier than usual in the stairs, and sometimes ones powers just... Didn't work right. Immediately to the right of the elevator was an old fashioned door with foggy glass. On it read "The Common Room". Very far to the right, taking up most of the right wall, were larges sliding garage doors, comically padlocked and chained in excess. Immediately to the left of the front door were some ridiculously plushy couches and chairs, and to the far left corner, the lights dimmed mysteriously. A small flight of stairs lead to a dark hallway lit by red lights. Caution tape had been placed all around the entrance to the stairs, and the door at the bottom was fitted with more locks than seemed possible. It was the Basement.... Nobody went down there. Nor were they allowed to.

Hector lit himself a cigarette, surfing his list of applicants on his computer. They'd be here soon, he knew it.

UnStellar stared uneasily at the brick apartment exterior. He hated the idea of living in a room this small, but knew that to keep his Wanderer license he had to live in a DTA approved habitat. This was the only one on this dimension, the Shattered Planes. Taking a deep breath, he entered through the front door...

And about fainted as the lobby was bigger on the inside then the entire building was on the outside. It was... Dizzying.
"UnStellar?" Hector practically shouted across the room from his desk.
"Yes?" He replied, uncertain.
"Take a seat in those chairs over there. When the rest arrive we'll started the tour."
"Um. Okay." He said uncertainly.

(Yeah I can only remember as far back as the CL Forums. Someone from there brought it to Phoenix, and anytime an offbranch forum of Phoenix would form, this topic would be a staple there. I can't remember who but I think it was either Hikaru or myself who brought it to CLTCG where it would be revived a few times and then I think it got put on Nod's Eden after CLTCG died. And then here, once or twice before.)

In the back room of the bar, where the alcohol was typically stored, there was a large, metal door which covered some sort of human-sized container, built into the wall. It was almost like a large metal coffin glued to the back wall of the back room. A small, square, glass window was situated at eye-level on the door, but currently it was all fogged up from an excess amount of smoke inside the pod. There was a huge note on the front of the door, next to a series of knobs and buttons, that read, "USE WITH CAUTION."

On the line under the big print, the note read, "Only to be used after disposal of former bar and lounge employees. Treat with care."

Further below in extremely small print the note read: "Regenerated people may demonstrate unstable behavior. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK."

With a pop, the metal container's door swung open, releasing smoke and steam as a very nude Kaleb stepped forth, glaring around the back room. Realizing that he was to be the new bartender, and with no memory of his past... Incarnations at the other complexes, being that each version of Kaleb was a clone, he grabbed a bottle of rum and happily started humming as he drank it, making his way towards the lobby.

"Ahh... The Kaleb clone has awaken." Hector said with satisfaction, a notice popping up on his computer.
"I hope we can make some money off the damn bar... It would be nice to turn a profit this time." He muttered silently.
"Stella, got a friend coming down now. A little company for ya."
"Okaaay." He replied, sinking into the plushy chair.

((Can I have technically an attic but more of a door in the roof on the top floor that leads into more of a null space? I was thinking a large dark purple carpet and oaken tables and chairs all around with only a small, rowan wood bed in the corner. All the furniture apart from the bed however is covered and coated in dust, only the bed looks lived in, the rest looks untouched. The only other thing spectacular is the massive circular window in the roof which looks out onto stars and a blood red half moon but nothing else, the moon moves but when it leaves one side of the window, it reappears on the other side. Is that alright... I can change it if you want. As for jobs, I would be happy with waiter and attic bird (you'll understand)))

Blue-green eyes opened to see the dead world outside, as always. He had never bothered with it before but now it was getting a little boring and samey but that would always happen with him, that was the way he was. He frowned slightly or that might be his usual face, it was hard to tell him and he rolled to his feet from the bed. Clad in shorts and nothing else he looked around at the dusty room he was in and sighed softly. "I wonder where I'll end up today" He muttered to himself, a coarse Scottish accent flavoring his words as he quickly got changed and tapped the rune on his left shoulder, the rune glowing a soft blue-green, same as his eyes. "Might as well see, eh?" he asked himself and shook his head before he looked over his garb, a pair of faded grey jeans and a black shirt, all but the top button done and the sleeves rolled up past his elbows. He almost looked presentable but he never was, not truly.

The boy, looking around 16-ish, stepped over to the door in the floor and rotated his shoulders slightly before nodding and opening the door, it opened to a set of ladders and another door "Well that's never happened before" He whispered and then climbed down before cracking the door open slightly and peering out. Noticing no one, he stepped out and looked around before nodding and following the corridor for a while, ignoring the stairs for a while. Soon though he realised that it was just looping and instead took the elevator, not liking the warnings on the stairs one little bit. A few moments of movement later and he stepped out at the bottom of the strange complex and cast his gaze around. "Nothing special" He noted to himself and turned to walk into the main area before he realised he was in the main area and had probably just made a fool of himself by talking to himself in their presence. It was a rather motley bunch he noticed and he just hoped he didn't draw too much attention, he shouldn't anyway, he was nothing special either.

Hector heard the ding of the elevator and turned with some alarm. His nice clothes faded to armor, and in his hand appeared a mighty battleaxe.
"Halt! Are you from the Basement?" He asked with alarm. It was unusual for someone to appear without first being signed in.
